Boy Oh Boy

It's hard to believe May is just around the corner. We've had a couple of nice days in April, but not enough!! Kevin and his dad are busy with the field work, I think they are getting close to having all of the corn planted.
The boys love to go with their dad any chance they have. Kellen's getting old enough where he is able to go along with Kevin more, so Tyson and Kellen are having to take turns going with. Cooper would love to go to, but he is still too little.
When they are not with their dad, they are busy pretending that they are 'Kevin' and 'Grandpa'. Tyson pretends he is Kevin on a daily basis. It really makes us realize that they are taking note of everything that we do and are very observant. Some days Tyson will be playing outside and will come in the house and change into his boots and go back outside. When I ask him why he changed his shoes he says "I'm Kevin now".

We are in the midst of potty training Kellen. Most days it goes really well with no accidents, and some days not so well. Yesterday he had 3 accidents. Not fun!! He wears his 'big boy underwear' all day and at night sleep in a pull up, but he usually wakes up dry. Potty training is right up there as one of my least favorite things of being a parent!

Cooper is my little kitchen towel thief. Here he is caught in the act. He loves to play with his brothers, and usually they like to play with him. He is just growing up so fast, size-wise and other-wise. He and Kellen can share some of their clothes. Cooper has started saying more words, now along with mama & dada he says: hot, hi, this, that, grandpa, & uh oh. He can be an ornery boy, too. Cooper definitely gets into more things than his brothers used too. He can sense an open toilet seat, or if some one left a phone or remote with in his reach.
