Christmas Day we had a Christmas planned at my Grandma's house, but with the bad weather approaching they cancelled it earlier in the week. So we thought we would just have a laid back day. Santa came that morning, and it was nice not having to rush and get ready right away to go somewhere. The boys would be able to play with their toys all day or so we thought. I had planned to make a breakfast meal for dinner, and have Kevin's parents over. Since Kevin's sister's family was snowed in at his parents, they came over too. We had just finished eating and our power went out, and it wasn't looking good for it to come back on any time soon. So we packed up a few things and moved across the road to Kevin's parents house. Kevin and Daryl started the generator so we had power over there. The power company said we would be lucky to have the power back on the following night. Thankfully, they had it back on the morning of the 26th. The rest of the Christmases that we had planned for the 26th and 27th were cancelled as well. They were all rescheduled for this weekend. We are going to my Grandma's house today and then to my parents house tomorrow. Kevin's mom's side of the family is also getting together tomorrow, but we are not going to be able to make it to it.
