Last Thursday, we had one of the nicest days in a very long time. We spent a lot of time outside that day. The boys acted like kids in a candy store, but with all of their outdoor play stuff. They would get something out and play with it a little bit and then run on to the next thing. I think they had forgot about some of the things they have and were very excited to see them again. We have been cooped up for months and any somewhat nice day we had this winter, the ground was covered in snow, so they weren't able to enjoy much of anything but their sleds.
On Friday it was so cold and snowing. Typical Nebraska weather! Yesterday it warmed up a little and by today it was really nice out again. We spent sometime outside again today. We really don't appreciate the ability to spend time outside until you've had to spend several months inside. I think this has been one of the worst winters we have had in a long time. I hope to never see one like it again!!
This weekend was alumni basketball in town. Kevin's team played and lost Saturday night. The boys sure liked to watch him play.
