Our landscape is changing

Changes are happening around the farm...

the ground is no longer bare. The corn is coming up nicely

and the beans are growing, too.

It sure would be nice if we could get some rain, so we could shut the pivots off!!

The biggest change to our landscape is a grain leg that they started putting up this week.

It's tall, about 100 feet tall, I'm told.

We had another busy, but fun weekend. On Saturday, Halie, Jenae and Aubree brought us some more kittens. We (Sue and the boys) now have 10 kittens. I'm not so much a cat person, but I have to admit those kittens are pretty cute.
On Saturday afternoon, we went to my Grandpa's 82nd birthday. Of course, I forgot to take pictures, but it was kind of hectic with all of the kids there!!
That evening after church, we went to Kevin's sister & brother-in-law's house. They just finished their basement and wanted to show us, plus they just got a Wii, so we had to try that out, too. It was a fun time.
On Sunday, we went into town to see Kevin's Grandma, Janice. We had a nice visit. We even made it down to the park for awhile.
We sure have been outside a lot enjoying the nice weather this week.
We have a fairly uneventful weekend planned. The only thing we have 'planned' is card club tonight. It should be fun, as we haven't got together for awhile.

Merry go round
Kellen started climbing up and go down the slide by himself at home, and when we went to the park this last time he did the same thing. Before he needed help. He's growing up!!

This was Kellen after my Grandpa's birthday party and before church. We couldn't even wake him up to eat. Luckily, he woke up as I carried him out to the pickup to go to church and he was in a good mood!

Last night we made smores and the boys loved them!!
