It just so happens that both my parents and Kevin's parents are celebrating anniversaries this holiday weekend. Daryl and Sue were married 33 years ago on the 4th and my parents were married 35 years ago today. I feel so fortunate to have such great parents that are excellent role models for us. Our families are truly blessed!!
On Friday night, all of us kids took my parents out for their anniversary. We told them we would throw them a party since it was their 35th, well they opted for just going out to eat. Well that was a feat of sorts considering we had 8 kids ages 5 and under at a resturant. We decided to go to a park and let the kids run off some energy when we were finished eating, instead of visiting at the resturant.
